Once a local German bar featuring Schlitz beer, Laschet's Inn has been transformed into an internationally known German establishment.
Former owner Karl Laschet, a prominent member of the German society, purchased the tavern in 1971 and changed the name to "Karl Laschet's Inn". Over the years, the identity of Laschet's was fashioned to include great beer and great fun all in a German atmosphere!
In 1991 Franz and Ursula Kokott purchased the business and devoted their efforts to preserving the heritage and ambiance of Laschet's. In 2000 Ursula opened the kitchen and began preparing authentic German cuisine.
In 2007 Matt and Mannie became the third owners of Laschet's Inn and added sidewalk cafe dining.
Today, the tavern includes a restaurant with historical displays, traditional European decor, and a delectable German-American Menu
