Although it's no longer the world's tallest skyscraper, this wonderfully classic 102-story Art Deco building is still the most famous of them all. It was declared a national landmark October 1986. Built in 1931, it is 1,454 feet tall and has two observatories (an exterior observatory on the 86th floor, an interior observatory on the 102nd floor).
